The best way is not "quick and easy." The book does not come overnight and will not leave very quickly. Combine gentle exercise with a change in dietary habits. If you take a walk three or four times a week, from a light meal two hours followed by decreased metabolism, burn fat faster than trying to crash diet ... the works never good.

for food, simple substitutions in good health can help a lot. eg 1% instead of whole milk, light bread (it has fewer calories) instead of ordinary bread, water instead of soda driving (badly), there is no candy, etc.
